Bimonthly writing workshops @ Ridgewood High School
During these meetings, we...
Discuss updates about upcoming events and publication opportunity for students
Provide a safe, welcoming space where students can comfortably talk about their struggles/insecurities and give support to others
Individually meet with students to track volunteer hours and provide guidance if needed
When are these workshops held?
Bimonthly on Tuesdays during the school year
During lunch (bring your lunch!)
We send out meeting updates on Google Classroom a week in advance
What's the duration of a typical meeting?
15-25 minutes
Leaders stay for the entirety of lunch, so stay as long as you want :)
